Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with Prozone Ltd, a company registered in Malta with registration number C 97664 and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under licence number MGA/B2C/312/2015, as the operator of the Bet Hard services offered via the website betherds.com, including the Bet Hard version of the site (together, the "Service"). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Prozone Ltd when you access or use the Service.
Important jurisdictional notice: The Service is not authorised by the UK Gambling Commission. Prozone Ltd surrendered its former UK Gambling Commission licence in July 2020 and does not legally accept players resident in, or accessing from, the United Kingdom. Any attempt to access or use the Service from the United Kingdom (including by VPN or proxy) is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
By registering an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, that you are at least 18 years old (or older where your local law requires a higher minimum age), and that online gambling is legal in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
Effective date: 1 January 2026 (as updated and in force from 2026 onwards).
Definitions
- Operator means Prozone Ltd, a Maltese limited company with registered address at 6, Paceville Avenue, St. Julian's STJ 3109, Malta, which operates the Service under MGA licence number MGA/B2C/312/2015.
- Website or Site means the online gambling platform accessible via https://betherds.com, including any sub-pages and any Bet Hard branded interfaces.
- Service means all products and services provided by the Operator through the Website, including casino games, live casino, betting, bonuses, promotions, account facilities and customer support.
- User or Player means any natural person who accesses the Website, creates an account or uses the Service.
- Account means the personal user account created by a Player on the Website for the purpose of accessing the Service.
- Bet or Wager means any stake of real money or bonus funds placed by a Player on any game or product offered on the Service.
- Real Money Balance means funds deposited by the Player and not subject to any wagering requirement, as adjusted for winnings, losses, fees and withdrawals.
- Bonus means any promotional credit, free spins, free bets, cashback, tournament ticket or similar benefit granted to a Player subject to specific terms, including wagering or eligibility conditions.
- Bonus Funds means any monetary value associated with a Bonus that is not yet convertible to withdrawable cash because wagering or other conditions remain outstanding.
- Wagering Requirement means the total amount that must be staked using Bonus Funds (and, where specified, Real Money) before Bonus-related winnings become withdrawable.
- Restricted Countries means jurisdictions from which access to or use of the Service is prohibited, including, without limitation, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France, Spain, Italy and such other countries as listed from time to time in the Operator's policies.
- Device means any computer, smartphone, tablet or other equipment used to access the Website.
- Terms means these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.
Account Registration
Eligibility and age verification
- Minimum age: You may only register and hold an Account if you are at least 18 years old, or older where your local law prescribes a higher minimum age for gambling. The Operator reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or close any Account where age cannot be satisfactorily verified.
- Restricted jurisdictions: You are not permitted to open or use an Account if you are resident in, located in, or accessing the Service from any Restricted Country, including the United Kingdom. The Operator employs geolocation, IP checks and other technological measures to enforce restrictions. Access via VPN, proxy, Tor or similar tools to disguise your location is strictly prohibited.
- Self-exclusion notice (UK): The Service is not connected to the UK national self-exclusion scheme GamStop because the Operator is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. If you are self-excluded via GamStop, that exclusion does not automatically apply to betherds.com, and self-exclusion on this Website does not register you with GamStop. You remain responsible for managing your gambling across all operators and jurisdictions.
Account creation process
- Registration: To create an Account, you must complete the online registration form with accurate and complete information, including your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address and any other data requested. You may be asked to confirm that online gambling is legal in your jurisdiction and that you are not located in a Restricted Country.
- Email verification: After registration, you may be required to verify your email address by clicking a link sent to the address you provided. The Operator may restrict access to certain products or features until verification is complete.
- Know Your Customer (KYC) checks: In line with anti-money laundering and regulatory obligations, the Operator may at any time request identification documents, including but not limited to: a valid government-issued photo ID, proof of address (e.g. utility bill or bank statement), proof of ownership of payment methods used, and information on source of funds. - Single account: You may hold only one Account with the Operator. Creation of multiple Accounts, including across variants of the Service such as Bet Hard, is prohibited and may lead to closure of all related Accounts and forfeiture of bonuses and winnings derived from duplicate Accounts.
User obligations and account security
- Accuracy of data: You must ensure that all information provided during registration and throughout the lifetime of your Account is true, accurate and kept up to date. Material misrepresentation (including false address, nationality or place of residence, especially where used to bypass jurisdictional restrictions such as those applicable to the United Kingdom) is a serious breach of these Terms.
- Login credentials: You must keep your username, password and any security credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account, whether authorised by you or not. You must notify customer support immediately if you suspect that your Account has been compromised.
- Account transfer: Your Account is personal to you. You must not allow others to use your Account, and you must not sell, transfer or acquire Accounts from any third party.
- Verification of jurisdiction: The Operator may perform recurring checks of your location and residency, including during KYC and prior to withdrawals. If it is established that you have used the Service from a Restricted Country such as the United Kingdom, the Operator may void bets, cancel Bonuses, close the Account and, subject to applicable law and regulatory duties, return or withhold funds as reasonably necessary to manage legal and AML risks.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
Placing bets and game participation
- Game rules: Each game or product offered via the Service is governed by its own specific rules as displayed within the game interface or help section. In the event of conflict, the specific game rules take precedence over any general description in these Terms.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each game has defined minimum and maximum bet limits, which may vary by currency, Player segment and game type. You must ensure that your bet falls within the allowed range before confirming it.
- Bet confirmation: A Bet is considered placed and accepted when it is registered on the Operator's servers and appears in your game history or transaction log. If there is any discrepancy between your Device's display and the Operator's records, the latter shall prevail.
- Availability: The Operator may, at its discretion, refuse to accept Bets, limit stakes, or restrict access to particular games or tables (for example, due to technical issues, risk management decisions, regulatory constraints, or suspected misuse).
Cancellation, errors and voids
- Player cancellation: Once a Bet has been confirmed by the Operator, you may not cancel or amend it unless the specific game rules expressly allow for such action and the game interface provides this option.
- Operator errors: In the case of an obvious error (including but not limited to incorrect odds, bets placed after game closure, misconfigured game parameters or software malfunction), the Operator reserves the right to void affected Bets, adjust winnings to the correct amount, or otherwise rectify the error. Where possible, the Operator will act in a manner consistent with fairness and regulatory expectations.
- Technical interruptions: If a game round is interrupted due to technical or connectivity issues, the outcome will be determined according to the game provider's rules and the Operator's records. Completed game rounds stand as recorded; unresolved rounds may be restored, completed or voided in accordance with those rules.
Conduct in live casino and chats
- Respectful behaviour: When participating in live casino tables or chat features, you must treat dealers, staff and fellow players with respect. You must not use language or content that is abusive, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory, harassing or otherwise inappropriate.
- Prohibited conduct: You must not:
- engage in collusion with other players or third parties;
- share personal contact details, spam, advertise or promote other services;
- use bots, scripts, automated tools or any unfair advantage, including attempting to manipulate game outcomes or exploit software bugs;
- use VPNs, proxies or similar tools to circumvent geographical restrictions, including those applicable to players in the United Kingdom;
- attempt to interfere with, hack or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Enforcement: The Operator may mute, restrict, or exclude you from chats, games or the Service, and may close your Account, if you violate these conduct rules. In serious cases (including suspected fraud, money laundering or use from Restricted Countries), Bets may be voided and relevant authorities may be notified.
Bonus Terms
Bonus eligibility and activation
- Eligibility: Bonuses, including offers displayed on the Bet Hard interface of betherds.com, are optional and may be restricted by country, currency, payment method, Player history and promotional period. Residents of, or persons accessing the Service from, Restricted Countries (including the United Kingdom) are not eligible for any Bonuses.
- Activation: Some Bonuses require an opt-in, bonus code, or minimum qualifying deposit. The specific conditions for each promotion are set out in the bonus description or dedicated bonus terms page on the Website.
- Bonus accounts: The Operator may maintain separate balances for Real Money and Bonus Funds. Unless specified otherwise, real money stakes are used before Bonus Funds.
Wagering requirements and time limits
- Wagering: Each Bonus is subject to a wagering requirement (for example, 20x the bonus amount, or 20x the sum of deposit plus bonus) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Only stakes placed after Bonus activation count towards wagering.
- Game contribution: Different games may contribute differently to wagering requirements; for example, slots may contribute 100%, while table games, video poker and live casino may contribute 0 - 20%, or be excluded entirely. The contribution table for each promotion is communicated in the relevant bonus terms.
- Timeframe: Bonuses generally have a limited validity period (for example, 30 days from the date of credit, or 24 hours for free spins). If wagering is not completed within the stated period, the Bonus and any winnings generated from it may be removed from your Account.
Betting restrictions and prohibited play
- Maximum bet: While an active Bonus is in play, you may be subject to a maximum bet per spin or game round (for example, the lower of a specified currency amount or a percentage of the Bonus amount). Exceeding the maximum permitted bet may result in forfeiture of the Bonus and associated winnings.
- Prohibited strategies: The following may be treated as irregular play and can lead to cancellation of Bonuses and related winnings:
- placing low-risk or zero-risk bets to meet wagering requirements;
- delaying game rounds or storing "value" features (for example, free spins, bonus rounds) while a Bonus is active and concluding them after wagering has been met;
- betting in a pattern designed to exploit promotional structures, including significant increases in bet size following large wins while wagering is outstanding.
- Combining promotions: Unless explicitly allowed, Bonuses cannot be combined or stacked. Only one active Bonus can be in play at any time. Deposit Bonuses may not be available when using certain payment methods as specified on the Website.
Bonus cancellation and adjustments
- Cancellation by Player: You may request cancellation of an active Bonus. In such cases, any remaining Bonus Funds and winnings generated from them may be removed, while your Real Money Balance remains unaffected unless otherwise stated in the specific promotion.
- Operator rights: The Operator reserves the right to withhold, withdraw or cancel any Bonus or promotion if there is evidence or reasonable suspicion of abuse, irregular play, fraud, technical error or breaching of jurisdictional restrictions (including access from the United Kingdom). In such cases, the Operator may void winnings and adjust balances in accordance with applicable law and regulatory guidance.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposit methods and limits
- Payment methods: Subject to availability in your jurisdiction, you may deposit using debit/credit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets and, where legally permitted, selected cryptocurrencies. The Operator does not guarantee that all methods are available in all countries. Players in Restricted Countries, including the United Kingdom, must not attempt to deposit or transact.
- Ownership of payment instruments: You may only use payment methods that are in your own name. Third-party deposits are not permitted. The Operator may request proof of ownership and may reverse transactions that do not comply.
- Deposit limits: Minimum and maximum deposit amounts are specified on the Website and may vary by method and jurisdiction. You may also set your own voluntary deposit limits using the responsible gambling tools provided.
Withdrawals and processing times
- Withdrawal conditions: Subject to KYC checks and completion of wagering requirements, you may request withdrawal of your Real Money Balance via the cashier. In general, withdrawals must, where possible, be made using the same method as was used for deposits, in line with anti-money laundering requirements.
- Processing: The Operator aims to review withdrawal requests within a reasonable timeframe (for example, within 24 - 72 hours), but this may be longer during peak periods, when additional verification is required, or due to third-party payment provider processes.
- Fees and currency: The Operator may charge reasonable processing fees for certain transactions, which will be disclosed in the cashier section or during the transaction process. Currency conversion costs are borne by you where your account currency differs from your payment method currency.
Refunds, chargebacks and compliance
- Refund policy: Deposits are not ordinarily refundable once used for wagering. In exceptional cases, and at the Operator's discretion, refunds may be granted if no wagering has taken place or where required by applicable law. Refunds of Bets or Bonuses may occur where game rounds are voided due to technical error.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or otherwise reverse a payment, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, deduct any associated costs, and void winnings and Bonuses derived from the disputed funds. The Operator may also report the matter to relevant authorities and payment providers.
- Use from Restricted Countries: If it is established that deposits or withdrawals have been made while you were in a Restricted Country (including the United Kingdom), the Operator may, consistent with legal and regulatory obligations, void Bets, void Bonuses and related winnings, and determine whether any remaining Real Money Balance is to be returned or withheld to address compliance and anti-money laundering concerns.
Limitation of Liability
Operator responsibilities
- Service provision: The Operator will use reasonable skill and care to provide the Service, to ensure that games are operated fairly in accordance with their rules, and to maintain accurate records of Bets, game outcomes and Account balances.
- Game integrity: Casino games and random outcomes are provided by licensed game suppliers and are based on certified random number generators or live events, as applicable. Payouts are determined in accordance with the applicable game rules.
Exclusions and limitations
- Technical failures: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from interruptions, delays, bugs, viruses, communication failures, Device malfunctions, or failures of internet service providers, payment processors or other third parties beyond the Operator's reasonable control.
- Indirect losses: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, business, data or goodwill) arising out of or in connection with the Service, these Terms or any Bet.
- Maximum liability: Without prejudice to any non-excludable statutory rights, the Operator's maximum aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim arising from the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the higher of: (i) the amount of the Bet that gave rise to the alleged liability; or (ii) your net deposits (deposits minus withdrawals) with the Operator over the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Operator's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Ownership: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website and the Service, including but not limited to trademarks (such as Bet Hard), logos, domain names (including betherds.com), graphics, user interface, software, databases, text and other content, are owned by the Operator or its licensors.
- Limited licence: You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and the Service for your private, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, in accordance with these Terms.
- Prohibited uses: You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Website or its content without the prior written consent of the Operator or the relevant rights holder.
- Software: Any software made available to you in connection with the Service is licensed, not sold. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of such software, except where expressly permitted by mandatory law.
Privacy & Data Protection
- Privacy Policy: The Operator processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy as published and updated on betherds.com. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your personal data as described therein.
- Legal framework: Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Maltese data protection legislation, as applicable to the Operator. Depending on your location, additional local data protection laws may also apply.
- International transfers: Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or your country of residence, the Operator will take appropriate safeguards as required by law. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
- Right to amend: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, technical developments, or changes to the Service.
- Notification: Material changes will, where practicable, be notified to you in advance by email to the address associated with your Account and/or by a prominent notice or banner on the Website. The updated Terms will indicate the new effective date.
- Continued use: Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may request closure of your Account.
- Historical versions: The Operator may maintain or provide access to previous versions of these Terms upon request, for transparency and record-keeping purposes.
Termination & Suspension
Termination by you
- Account closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting customer support or, where available, by using the self-service tools in the Account settings section. Once processed, you will no longer have access to the Service via that Account.
- Balances on closure: Upon closure requested by you, and subject to ongoing investigations, outstanding KYC checks, wagering requirements and applicable law, your Real Money Balance will ordinarily be paid out to you using an appropriate payment method, and any active Bonuses and associated Bonus Funds will be cancelled.
Suspension or termination by the Operator
- Grounds for action: The Operator may suspend or close your Account, restrict access to the Service, withhold or void Bets, Bonuses or winnings, and/or freeze funds where it has reasonable grounds to believe that:
- you have breached these Terms or any other applicable policy;
- you are underage or have provided inaccurate or misleading information;
- you are resident in, located in, or accessing the Service from a Restricted Country (including the United Kingdom), or you are using VPNs or similar tools to disguise your location;
- you are involved in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, chargebacks or other criminal or suspicious activity;
- you have engaged in collusion, cheating, bonus abuse or other unfair practices.
- Procedure: Where legally permitted, the Operator will endeavour to inform you of the reason for suspension or closure and may request additional documentation or explanations. However, the Operator may be prohibited from providing full details in cases involving anti-money laundering obligations or instructions from authorities.
- Funds on closure: In case of termination due to breach of these Terms or legal obligations, the treatment of your Account balance (including whether Real Money funds are returned or withheld, and whether Bonuses and winnings are forfeited) will be determined by the Operator in accordance with applicable law, regulatory guidance and internal policies. Where legally required, any remaining eligible balance will be returned to you.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- Applicable law: These Terms, your use of the Service and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta, excluding any conflict of laws rules that would result in the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.
- Primary dispute resolution: If you have a complaint regarding the Service, you should first contact customer support via the channels set out below. The Operator will investigate and endeavour to resolve your complaint promptly and fairly.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): If you are dissatisfied with the Operator's final response, you may be entitled to refer your dispute to an independent alternative dispute resolution body, such as eCOGRA, in accordance with the instructions provided on the Website and at the ADR provider's site.
- Regulatory complaints (MGA): As the Service is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority, you may also have the option of submitting a complaint to the MGA through its player complaint procedures, as explained on the Authority's official website.
- Court jurisdiction: Subject to any mandatory local consumer protection rights that may apply to you, the courts of Malta shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
